BIRTHDAY TWINS
Ohhh hey, guess what Patrick we are 40! The concept of what 40 years old even was on that special Sunday Funday on the Oasis patio oh so many years ago, when you dropped your drivers license and just happened to pick. I then discovered that we had the same not only the same day but also the same birth year, I also got excited and posted a photo of both of our DL's right away on FB with all of our details for everyone to see, yeah did not exactly thing that one through, thankfully no identity theft took place that day. A couple of fun loving empathetic pisces, both once upon a time aspiring actors and media personalities it really does make me thing that birthdates have some actual influence on who we become in this world. I must have met you in passing at PJ's but our first official interaction was at my housewarming at the Barclay street townhouse, so many good memories with you at that place, anyway yah so it was a fucking monsoon and you, Donovan, Adam and your then man of the moment came by to say hi, I was so nervous I mean I had to impress the homorazzi boys lol, cut to many fun nights together out and about in the village, I think at least 2 seasons worth of American Horror story viewing parties at my place and one memorable night where I may or may not of given you a special little pill and then lost you, but hey we are still here to tell the tale. Oh yah so many early morning rides to Crossfit, its pretty clear which one of us left and which one kept going lol. Now, I am not saying that you are my injury omen, but you have been present during both of my major leg injuries, first the cracked ankle during box jumps at 604 and the second when we were on the same softball team and I thought it would be great to do a full tear on my achilles tendon, so I think no more sports or activities like that when you are present just as a precaution lol. We also have our big old gay bday, the Shangri La Extravaganza, welcome champagne, cutely dressed people Donovan taking great photos and me running around freaking out because there was no DJ equipment, in the end all was great and I think we all had a blast, I am pretty sure no one left sober even with the drink prices we should do another joint bash again one year, make it a fundraiser for something now that's a great idea! I could keep going cuz the list of memories is so long but lets just get to the point, you have always been a great friend, incredibly thoughtful and welcoming and nice, even when I may have said the wrong thing at the wrong time you set me straight but forgave me. Our lives are different but also similar, I am very lucky to have you as a friend and birthday twin. Happy 40 years of amazing moments memories and friendships Patrick, here's to us, and another what, 50? 45? Let's just say how ever many more years before we actually start to look too old, cuz I will say this neither of us actually look 40 sooo go us! :) Happy Birthday.
