"Ok so I have this great Idea, just trust me"
"We went to winter fest, we went to winter fest" why the fuck was that a fun thing to chant over and over, and why our parents never shoved a sock in our mouths is beyond me. I mean what a ride our cousinship has gone on, from our life guard practice session (I did not try drowning you) to playing house and having all the drama of a daytime soap opera, to nachos, hot dogs and daily trips to the swimming pool, we had a lot of fun growing up together. I am so lucky that this sort of only child had a couple of amazing kids to grow up with. And then sharing a group of friends and getting to spend so much time with you, you can't ask for that. I forget how many people don't even get to come close to what we had growing up, and while sure it wasn't perfect, it was pretty damn awesome. And then life happens and we go through grown up stuff like your dad passing, me maybe not navigating it in the way that you needed me to be, and then my dad passing and you being there for me and my mom in the most amazing way possible. And well hell here is 2021 and what in the fuck is going on, this year and last year have really given you a push to the limit, well I got you, I may not be around the corner but I'm really not that far away, I got you cuz! Do you think you'll have time to play radio show when this pandemic is over, maybe you can be a guest on my podcast, and then we can make a youtube video of our artistic interpretation of "going back to cali" by LL Cool J cuz we definitely didn't do that in front of our entire family. And please save me at least one summer afternoon to listen to the entire TLF waterfalls album outside in the summer sunshine but this time we are gonna upgrade, add a pool to the mix and switch out the Sanyo ghetto blaster for nice Bose or Sony bluetooth speaker.
